Artificial Intelligent Systems, Book Learning, and Performance Creation -

How much information should we plan for an artificially intelligent autonomous system? Well, maybe that is determined by the tasks, which are assigned. Indeed the intention of the system makes sense, therefore let's say the system would be to become an adviser to humans in a leadership role of some type?

Perhaps a system like the USS Enterprise primary computer to inform Captain Kirk or maybe to advise our own US Army central control or even a CEO of a multi-national conglomerate?

Should we, therefore, program the system with all the whole library of congress? The whole Internet archives and all the world's knowledge?

How much is too much and how should we go about it? Well, maybe these new electronic library initiatives, that can be digitizing every book could be set into the computer memory banks? Makes sense?

And now then, what would a system like that be worth? What would it do if there is conflicting information, as most of us know there are conflicting data collections in Wikipedia, Britanica and even our own annals of history?

Then there is an issue of perception? For instance, if you had been an American then the assault on Pearl Harbor was a cowardness event, but if you're a Japanese subsequently your background shows it was a surprise attack and a decisive battle and success and the best surprise strikes in contemporary warfare history. Do you find the issue with programming book knowledge into unnaturally intelligent systems yet?
